Domaine Patrick Javillier

The estate is based in the village of Meursault in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy, one of the most celebrated appellations for white wine in the world. Its vineyard holdings extend from Bourgogne-level parcels around Meursault to Premier Cru sites within the village.

The domaine focuses almost entirely on Chardonnay, producing a wide ladder from Bourgogne Blanc up through village Meursault and several Premier Cru bottlings. Their Premier Cru parcels, including 'Les Grands Charrons' and 'Les Charmes,' are particularly sought after by collectors.

Patrick Javillier established the domaine in the 1970s, and his daughter Marion Javillier has since taken on increasing responsibility for winemaking and estate management. The family farms roughly 10 hectares of vines, the majority planted to Chardonnay.

Domaine Patrick Javillier produces a notable Bourgogne Blanc sometimes labelled 'Cuvée Oligocène,' sourced from older vines on limestone-rich parcels near Meursault. It is widely considered one of the finest entry-level white Burgundies available and offers an accessible introduction to the domaine's style.
