Doodle Jump

Doodle Jump was developed by Lima Sky, an independent studio founded by brothers Igor and Marko Pusenjak. It was originally released for iOS in 2009 and later expanded to Android, Windows Phone, and other platforms, becoming one of the best-selling App Store games of its era.

Players control the Doodler by tilting their device left and right using the accelerometer to land on platforms, while the character automatically jumps upward. Tapping the screen fires projectiles at enemies and obstacles that block the ascent.

Doodle Jump features multiple themed worlds, including the original jungle theme, a space theme, a Halloween theme, and a soccer theme, among others. Each theme introduces unique platform types, enemies, and visual styles that change the gameplay feel.

Doodle Jump reportedly surpassed tens of millions of downloads across all platforms, making it one of the most successful early iOS games. At its peak, it was frequently ranked among the top paid apps on the App Store and helped define the casual mobile gaming boom of the late 2000s and early 2010s.
