What is the difference between the 1979 and 2005 Doraemon anime?

The 2005 version of Doraemon serves as a soft reboot of the 1979 series, featuring significant upgrades to the character designs, color palette, and sound effects. It also introduced a completely new cast of voice actors to replace the aging original cast. The pacing and storylines were modernized to appeal to contemporary children.

In the 2005 anime, Doraemon is voiced by the Japanese voice actress Wasabi Mizuta.
