Can the original Dygma Raise be used as one normal keyboard?

Yes, its two halves can be placed together like a conventional compact keyboard or separated to shoulder width. The familiar 60-percent layout makes the transition less abrupt than a column-staggered split board.

Why does the Dygma Raise put extra keys under the thumbs?

Its eight-key thumb cluster moves common actions such as Space, Backspace, Shift, or layer switching away from the weaker little fingers. The Bazecor software lets each user assign those keys and build application-specific layers.

Does the Dygma Raise include tenting?

The original Raise required a separate tenting accessory rather than including adjustable tenting in the base keyboard. The newer Raise 2 supports a broader integrated tenting range, including angles up to 60 degrees depending on configuration.
