Eating People Is Wrong

description Eating People Is Wrong Overview

Eating People Is Wrong is Malcolm Bradbury's 1959 debut novel, set at a provincial English university. It follows Stuart Tree, a liberal professor whose academic position does little to protect him from awkward romantic entanglements, social embarrassment, and the competing demands of colleagues and students. The book is a campus comedy and academic satire, using postwar university life to expose the gap between humane ideals and ordinary behavior.
