Eden Hazard

Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard in June 2019 for a reported initial fee of around €100 million. The deal also included significant add-on clauses, making the total potential value much higher. The transfer made him one of the most expensive players in history at the time.

During his seven seasons at Chelsea from 2012 to 2019, Hazard won two Premier League titles and two UEFA Europa League titles. He was also named the PFA Players' Player of the Year for the 2014–15 season. He scored over 100 goals for the club, cementing his status as a Chelsea legend.

Hazard is primarily an attacking winger, though he frequently plays as a creative number 10 or inside forward. Known for his exceptional dribbling, low center of gravity, and playmaking ability, he spent his best years cutting in from the left flank. He was the creative hub for both Chelsea and the Belgian national team.

After joining Real Madrid for €100 million in 2019, Hazard's career was derailed by a series of severe, recurring injuries. He struggled to maintain his physical fitness and could not replicate the explosive form he showed in the Premier League. He ultimately failed to hold down a regular starting spot before leaving the club.
