Eldbjørg Hemsing

Eldbjørg Hemsing is a Norwegian violinist from the Valdres region, where she grew up in a musical family. Her mother was a professional violinist, and her sister Ragnhild Hemsing is also a performing violinist. Arctic is Hemsing's Sony Classical concept album about the northern landscape and musical identity. It was released on February 3, 2022, and combines classical repertoire with newer works connected to the Arctic.
