Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Fairuzabadi was a 14th-century Arabic lexicographer of Persian origin. He is best known for his Al-Qamus al-Muhit, a monumental and remarkably comprehensive dictionary of the classical Arabic language. This work established standards for Arabic lexicography and greatly influenced subsequent dictionaries. It remains invaluable for scholars studying classical Arabic literature, history, and religious texts.
