Fat Princess

The core objective of the primary multiplayer mode is a twist on Capture the Flag, where players must rescue their captured Princess from the enemy castle. While rescuing her, the opposing team can feed the princess slices of cake to increase her weight. A heavier princess requires significantly more players to carry her back safely.

Fat Princess was initially released digitally on the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network in July 2009. It was later ported to the PlayStation Portable under the title Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake. Today, the PS3 version can also be played on the PlayStation Vita and PS TV via digital download.

The game was developed by Titan Studios, an independent development team at the time, and published globally by Sony Computer Entertainment. The studio was specifically formed to create downloadable titles for the PlayStation Network. The game's charming, cartoonish art style helped it become one of the PSN's most successful early exclusives.

Players can choose from six distinct classes by picking up hats scattered around the map: Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Priest, Worker, and Villager. Each class has unique abilities and weapons that are essential for a balanced assault on the enemy castle. The Worker class is particularly vital, as they gather resources to upgrade the other classes' hats and weapons.
