The Charlotte, North Carolina group on the recording consisted of vocalist C. J. Snare, guitarist Bill Leverty, bassist Perry Richardson, and drummer Michael Foster, with David Prater as producer.

Its singles included "Shake & Tumble," "Don't Treat Me Bad," "All She Wrote," and the power ballad "Love of a Lifetime," which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
