Foxy Tann

Foxy Tann received the title Most Burlesque at the 2005 event then commonly known as Miss Exotic World. The competition is associated with the institution now called the Burlesque Hall of Fame.

Foxy Tann is closely associated with Minneapolis and the Twin Cities neo-burlesque community. Her productions combine classic striptease influences with comedy, music, and a deliberately bold stage persona.

She works as a producer, host, teacher, and troupe leader as well as a featured performer. That producer role has made her an important organizer within Midwestern American neo-burlesque.

She is identified with neo-burlesque, the revival that reworked classic American striptease through modern comedy, politics, body diversity, and theatrical experimentation. Her 2005 national title came during a major period of growth for that revival.
