FPV Pursuit

The Chevrolet FPV Pursuit is a heavily modified Silverado pickup intended for law-enforcement pursuit work. Its package includes upgraded suspension, powertrain changes, and specialized equipment for high-speed response driving.

It starts with a Silverado platform but receives substantial modifications for pursuit use. The suspension, drivetrain, braking, communications, and emergency equipment are configured for a police or government fleet role.

FPV refers to a pursuit-focused vehicle program rather than a consumer trim sold like a standard Silverado package. The defining goal is controlled high-speed response, not simply adding cosmetic police styling.

That depends on the specific vehicle, registration status, and equipment fitted to it. A former fleet truck may need emergency lights, sirens, markings, or other law-enforcement hardware removed before ordinary road use.
