Giuseppe Terragni was a pioneering Italian Rationalist architect whose work in the 1930s helped define modernist architecture in Italy. Despite dying at a young age, he left behind a profound legacy of highly geometric and functionalist buildings.

His most celebrated work is the Casa del Fascio in Como, completed in 1936, which served as the local headquarters for the Fascist party. The building is renowned for its strict modernist grid, floating roof, and its ability to visually connect the interior with the public square outside.
