description GlassMate Pro Overview

The GlassMate Pro is a professional robotic window cleaning system designed for commercial use. It's suitable for building maintenance teams, property managers, and companies seeking reliable window cleaning solutions.

help GlassMate Pro FAQ

How does the GlassMate Pro stay attached to the window without falling?

The GlassMate Pro adheres to flat glass panes using a powerful motorized vacuum suction system that continuously pumps air out to create a strong negative pressure seal. This suction keeps the robot firmly planted on the window while it moves systematically across the surface. For safety, it also includes a secondary physical tether that you attach to a stable part of your window frame.

Can the GlassMate Pro clean framed mirrors or only unframed exterior windows?

The GlassMate Pro requires a certain amount of continuous flat surface area to maintain its vacuum seal, meaning it works best on unframed windows or large glass walls. If a mirror has a thick, raised frame, the robot may detect the edge and refuse to move over it. It uses edge-detection sensors to map the boundaries of the glass before it begins cleaning.

How do you clean the motorized pads on the GlassMate Pro?

The robot utilizes two sets of motorized cleaning pads; one set agitates the dirt while the trailing set wipes the glass clean. These microfiber pads are attached via Velcro and are completely removable for washing. You simply peel them off the wheels, machine or hand wash them with mild detergent, and let them air dry before reattaching.

What happens if the power goes out while the robot is cleaning a high window?

The GlassMate Pro features a built-in internal backup battery that engages automatically if the main AC power is disconnected. This battery provides roughly 20 to 30 minutes of continued suction power, allowing the robot to finish its current path or sound an alarm. This ensures the robot does not immediately fall off the glass if your power cuts out.
