Does the original Nest Wifi support Wi-Fi 6?
No. The original Nest Wifi generation uses Wi-Fi 5, also called 802.11ac; Google introduced Wi-Fi 6E support later with Nest Wifi Pro.
Can a Nest Wifi point be connected by Ethernet?
The original Nest Wifi point has no Ethernet ports, so it connects to the router wirelessly. The router has Ethernet connectivity, and older Google Wifi units can also be useful where wired backhaul is required.
Will Nest Wifi work with older Google Wifi units?
