Gridserve Electric Highway

It is GRIDSERVE's UK public rapid-charging network for key roads and motorway routes. The network began as Ecotricity's Electric Highway in 2011 and was sold to GRIDSERVE in June 2021. GRIDSERVE says its High Power bays can add up to 100 miles in under 10 minutes and reach about 80% in around 30 minutes. You can use the GRIDSERVE app to find sites and see live charger status, connector types, and availability. GRIDSERVE also offers a monthly membership with savings, but charging prices depend on the location and power level. GRIDSERVE's live map and app show real-time availability, charger speed, connector type, and site status. This matters because a site can have multiple bays and one failed connector does not necessarily mean the whole location is unavailable.
