Is Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor the 2005 series or the old OVA?

This refers to the 2005 TV series, which retells the story from the beginning of Yoshiki Takaya's manga. It's distinct from the earlier The Guyver OVA series released in Japan starting in 1989.

How many episodes are in the 2005 Guyver anime?

The 2005 series ran for 26 episodes. That allowed it to adapt much more of the manga than the earlier OVA releases managed.

Does the 2005 Guyver series adapt further than the 1989 OVA?

Yes, it continues well past where the 1989–1992 OVA stalled, pushing into the later Chronos storylines, including material around the Relics Point arc. Takaya's manga, which began in 1985, runs much further still and has long been famous for its slow, ongoing publication.

Who are Guyver II and Guyver III?
