Hanayama Huzzle Cast Ring

It is commonly rated around level 4 of 6 on Hanayama's difficulty scale, making it a mid-range challenge. That puts it harder than the simplest Huzzle cast puzzles but below the notorious level 6 designs.

It is produced by the Japanese puzzle company Hanayama as part of its Huzzle series of cast metal puzzles. The series includes dozens of interlocking and disentanglement designs across six difficulty levels.

The goal is to separate the interlocked loops without forcing anything, then reassemble them. Solving it is about finding the right angles and rotational sequences rather than strength.

It is a reasonable step up for newcomers who have outgrown level 1-2 puzzles, since its mid-range difficulty is not overwhelming. Complete beginners might start lower on the scale and work up to the Cast Ring.
