Hario V60 Plastic Dripper Large

The Large size dripper (size 02) uses Hario V60 size 02 cone-shaped paper filters, which are available in both bleached white and unbleached natural brown versions. The filters are specifically designed to fit the conical V60 shape.

The name V60 comes from its 60-degree cone angle, which creates a deeper coffee bed than flat-bottom drippers and promotes a faster, more even extraction. This design allows the brewer to control flow rate through grind size and pouring technique.

The internal spiral ribs prevent the paper filter from clinging flat against the plastic walls, allowing air to flow upward through the coffee grounds during brewing. This airflow helps maintain an even extraction and prevents stalling.

Hario manufactures the V60 in ceramic, glass, metal (stainless steel), and plastic versions, each with different heat retention properties. The plastic version is popular for travel and camping due to its light weight and durability.
