Haute Tension, also released as High Tension and Switchblade Romance, is a 2003 French horror film directed and co-written by Alexandre Aja with Grégory Levasseur. It follows Marie and Alexia during a visit to an isolated country house where a killer attacks the household, combining a survival plot with graphic slasher violence and a controversial late narrative twist. The film stars Cécile de France, Maïwenn, and Philippe Nahon and runs for about 91 minutes.
