description HD 192310 c Overview

HD 192310 c is an exoplanet orbiting HD 192310, a nearby K-type star about 29 light-years from Earth. It was announced in 2011 from radial-velocity measurements obtained with the Keck Observatory and the HARPS spectrograph. The planet is the outer known companion in a multi-planet system and has a mass between the commonly used Neptune and Saturn ranges. Its relatively long orbit places it farther from the host star than HD 192310 b, so it receives less stellar radiation.
