HD 222582 b is a giant exoplanet orbiting the star HD 222582, a Sun-like star in the constellation Aquarius. It was discovered through radial-velocity measurements reported in 2000 by a team led by Steven Vogt using the Keck Observatory. The planet has a mass comparable to Jupiter and follows a highly eccentric orbit, with an eccentricity of about 0.76. Its orbit carries it between relatively close and distant positions from the host star.
