Heathers

Heathers follows Veronica Sawyer, played by Winona Ryder, a high school student who has been accepted into a powerful clique of girls all named Heather. When she meets the charismatic and sociopathic new student J.D., played by Christian Slater, the two begin killing popular classmates and staging the deaths as suicides, which paradoxically makes the victims more popular in death. The film satirizes teen suicide, social hierarchy, and the glorification of victimhood in American high school culture.

Heathers stars Winona Ryder as Veronica Sawyer and Christian Slater as J.D., with Shannen Doherty, Lisanne Falk, and Kim Walker playing the three Heathers who rule Westerburg High School.
