description Heathkit H89 Overview

The Heathkit H89 was an all-in-one microcomputer introduced by Heath Company in 1979 and sold both as a self-assembly kit and in assembled form as the Heath/Zenith Z-89. It combined a Zilog Z80 processor, keyboard, monochrome terminal display, and floppy-disk storage in one enclosure. The machine could run HDOS or CP/M and was intended for programming, education, and small-business applications rather than modern graphical computing.
