Henri Cochet was a French tennis player recognized as one of the "Four Musketeers" who dominated the sport during the late 1920s and 1930s. Known for his exceptional speed and tactical net play, he captured seven Grand Slam singles championships, including four titles at the French Championships and two at Wimbledon. He achieved the World No. 1 ranking in 1928 and played a crucial role in securing six consecutive Davis Cup victories for France.

In 1976, Cochet was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame alongside his fellow Musketeers.
