The Hypervolt Plus competes with Theragun models like the Prime and Elite, though Theragun devices typically feature a higher amplitude (the depth the head travels into tissue) of approximately 16mm versus the Hypervolt's roughly 12mm. The Hypervolt Plus is generally quieter and lighter than comparable Theragun models, which some users find more comfortable for self-application.

The Hypervolt Plus is rated for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous use on a full charge, depending on the speed setting and the amount of pressure applied during use. It uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charges via a proprietary cable included with the device.
