Ilford FP4 Plus 125

Ilford FP4 Plus 125 is a medium-speed black-and-white negative film suited to daylight street work, portraits, architecture, and tripod landscapes. Its ISO 125 speed gives finer grain than faster films like Ilford HP5 Plus 400.

FP4 Plus is the updated 1990 version of Ilford's long-running FP line. The Plus version is known for fine grain, sharpness, and predictable behavior in standard black-and-white developers.

It can be pushed, but it is not as forgiving for high-speed work as HP5 Plus. FP4 Plus is happiest around ISO 125 or 200 when you want smoother tones and lower grain.

FP4 Plus has been widely sold in 35mm, 120 roll film, and sheet film formats. That makes it useful for photographers who want one black-and-white look across small, medium, and large format cameras.
