Kenny Ackerman (Attack on Titan)

Kenny Ackerman is Levi's maternal uncle who took him in and taught him how to survive in the brutal Underground city after his mother, Kuchel, died. Kenny raised Levi with tough love, teaching him how to use knives and firearms, before abruptly abandoning him when Levi was a teenager. Their relationship is heavily explored in Season 3 of the anime.

Kenny joined the Military Police's First Interior Squad to gain proximity to the royal family and the Founding Titan, driven by his lust for ultimate power. He allied with Rod Reiss, becoming the captain of the Anti-Personnel Control Squad to eliminate anyone who threatened the crown's secrets. He did not care about humanity's survival; he simply wanted to acquire the power of the Titans for himself.

No, despite his lifelong ambition to acquire Titan power, Kenny never actually consumed a Titan shifter. He did manage to steal the Titan injection containing the 'Armored' serum during the Uprising Arc. However, when he was fatally wounded by the collapse of the Reiss Chapel, he chose to give the serum to Levi rather than use it to save his own life.

Kenny wields a heavily modified version of the Anti-Personnel ODM gear that utilizes dual semi-automatic pistols instead of traditional blades. This ODM gear was specifically designed by the Military Police to assassinate Titan shifters and Survey Corps soldiers from afar. The recoil from the heavy firearms makes his ODM grapple hooks incredibly fast and deadly.
