Kingdom Death: Monster

Kingdom Death: Monster is a fully cooperative, campaign-driven survival board game set in a nightmarish, gothic horror universe. A single full campaign of Kingdom Death: Monster, known as the Lantern Campaign, takes an incredibly long time to complete, often requiring 80 to 100+ hours of gameplay. The game is played over a series of lantern years, where players face off against increasingly deadly adversaries. Most playgroups treat it as a long-term ongoing project.

The game was designed by Adam Poots and published by his company, Kingdom Death. It gained immense fame and funding through Kickstarter, first launching in 2012 and breaking records with its 1.5 version Kickstarter in 2017.
