Kohoutek 1-16, also designated K 1-16, is a planetary nebula in the constellation Draco. Its central star, DS Draconis, is a very hot stellar remnant with a temperature above 80,000 kelvin and exhibits low-amplitude pulsations. These variations make the object useful for studying the late stages of stellar evolution and the behavior of pulsating, highly evolved central stars in planetary nebulae.
