Larry King Live aired on CNN from 1985 to 2010, making it one of the longest-running programs in the network's history. Over its 25-year run, King conducted an estimated 50,000-plus interviews with newsmakers ranging from sitting presidents to ordinary citizens calling in with questions.

Larry King Live was succeeded by Piers Morgan Tonight, hosted by British journalist Piers Morgan, which premiered in January 2011. The program was later rebranded as Piers Morgan Live before CNN cancelled it in 2014.
