LEGO SPIKE Prime Set

The LEGO SPIKE Prime Set introduces middle and high school students to robotics and computational thinking through familiar building elements. The set includes 528 pieces, a Smart Hub with 6 ports, motors, and sensors for color, distance, and force detection. Programming uses a Scratch-based drag-and-drop interface accessible to beginners with no coding experience. The hub includes a 5x5 light matrix and speaker for feedback.

Students build various robots that can compete in FIRST LEGO League challenges. While the set costs more than traditional LEGO sets, the curriculum-aligned projects justify the investment for educational settings.
