Lennon is a Broadway musical about the life and music of John Lennon. Don Scardino wrote the book and directed the production, while the score and lyrics drew primarily from songs written by Lennon, supplemented by other material associated with his career. The musical opened at the Broadhurst Theatre in August 2005 and closed in September of the same year after 49 regular performances, following previews and a short Broadway run.
