Levoit LV600S Smart Humidifier

The Levoit LV600S features a hybrid mist design that includes an internal PTC ceramic heating element. When you select the warm mist mode via the VeSync app or the unit's panel, it heats the water internally before vaporizing it, producing a comforting, room-temperature mist. This helps raise the ambient room temperature faster during cold winter months.

To connect your LV600S to the VeSync app, first plug the humidifier in and verify your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Open the VeSync app, tap the '+' button to add a device, and hold the humidifier's 'Timer' button until the Wi-Fi icon starts flashing. The app will then guide you through the pairing process so you can control the unit remotely.

While you technically can use tap water, Levoit strongly recommends using distilled or filtered water in the LV600S. Using tap water, which is heavy in minerals, will cause a white dust to settle around your room and drastically speed up the buildup of limescale in the tank. Distilled water prevents this dust and keeps the ultrasonic diaphragm completely clean.

The Levoit LV600S is equipped with a massive 1.5-gallon water tank designed for up to 50 hours of continuous operation. This maximum runtime is achievable only when running the device on its lowest cool mist setting. On the highest setting, or when using the warm mist function, the water will deplete much faster.
