Long Pants

description Long Pants Overview

Long Pants is a 1927 American silent comedy directed by Frank Capra and starring Harry Langdon. Langdon plays a sheltered young man whose attempt to enter adult life brings him into a chain of romantic and criminal complications. The film uses physical comedy, exaggerated situations, and Langdon's deliberately restrained screen persona rather than spoken dialogue. It is part of the late silent period of American feature comedy and of Capra's early work with Langdon.
