Loxosceles spinulosa is a species of spider in the family Sicariidae, commonly known as the southern violin spider. William Frederick Purcell described the species in 1904, and recorded occurrences place it in South Africa, particularly the Eastern Cape and Western Cape. It is associated with the Fynbos and Thicket biomes and is not web-bound in the usual sense, using limited silk strands for retreats. The species is listed as Least Concern by the South African National Biodiversity Institute.
