Magyar Tarokk

description Magyar Tarokk Overview

Magyar Tarokk is the Hungarian version of tarot, which evolved from older central European Tarock games. It is the most widely played variant in Hungary, traditionally played by four participants using a specialized 42-card deck. The game features a complex bidding system where the declarer attempts to fulfill a specific contract against the defenders. A notable mechanic involves the declarer calling a specific king from their hand, temporarily teaming up with the player who holds that card during the round.
