Mansfield Roller Mill

The Mansfield Roller Mill is a historic water-powered flour mill located in Mansfield, Indiana. It sits along the banks of the Raccoon Creek in Parke County. The surrounding area is famous for its covered bridges and preserved 19th-century history.

The mill's surviving equipment perfectly documents the industrial transition from traditional grinding using French burr stones to roller-milling technology. Roller mills used corrugated iron rollers to grind grain much more efficiently than old stone burrs. This made the facility a highly competitive commercial flour producer in its era.

The current structure dates back to the 1880s, though a mill has existed on the same site since the early 19th century.
