Mario Teaches Typing is an educational typing game released in 1992 by Interplay Productions under license from Nintendo. The game uses characters from the Mario franchise to guide players through keyboarding exercises and timed typing challenges presented in Mario-themed scenarios. The game was released for MS-DOS and was designed for children learning touch typing. A sequel, Mario Teaches Typing 2, was released in 1996.
