Marvel Legends Ultimate Build Series

Marvel Legends figures are produced at the 6-inch scale, which is the standard for Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. The Ultimate Build designation typically refers to premium figures within this line that come with a Build-A-Figure piece, allowing collectors to assemble a larger character by purchasing multiple figures in a wave.

The Build-A-Figure (BAF) concept involves including a piece of a larger, bonus figure—such as an arm, leg, or torso—with each standard 6-inch figure in a particular wave. Collectors who purchase all the figures in that wave can assemble the complete Build-A-Figure, which is usually a character too large to sell as a standalone figure.

Marvel Legends figures typically feature extensive articulation, often around 20 to 30 points including ball-jointed shoulders, double-hinged elbows, swappable hands, and ab-crunch torsos. This high level of articulation allows for dynamic posing that approaches the quality of high-end collectible statues.

The Marvel Legends line is manufactured by Hasbro, one of the world's largest toy companies, which took over the Marvel action figure license in 2006. Hasbro has produced hundreds of Marvel Legends figures covering characters from across the Marvel Comics universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
