Each match deals damage based on the strongest character associated with that tile color and adds action points of the same color. Those action points power character abilities, making board control and team color coverage central to combat.

Duplicate character covers increase the level of one of that character's powers, subject to the build limits for that rarity. A character generally needs multiple covers and ISO-8 investment before reaching their full usable level.
