Michelozzo di Bartolomeo Michelozzi (1396–1472) was a Florentine architect and sculptor closely associated with the Medici family. His most significant work is the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, designed around 1444 for Cosimo de' Medici, which set an influential model for Renaissance town palaces through its tripartite rusticated façade. He also rebuilt the Dominican convent of San Marco at Cosimo's expense.
