Miriam T. Stark is an American archaeologist and anthropologist whose research focuses on Southeast Asia, particularly Cambodia and the archaeology of early states. She co-directed the Lower Mekong Archaeological Project, which began fieldwork in Cambodia in 1996 and investigated settlement, political development, and material culture in the Mekong delta. Her scholarship also addresses ceramic analysis, household archaeology, and the organization of premodern communities.
