description Moontide Overview

Moontide is a 1942 American drama directed by Archie Mayo and released by 20th Century Fox. Jean Gabin stars as Bobo, a wandering dockworker who becomes involved with Anna, played by Ida Lupino, after rescuing her from the water near a Southern California waterfront. The film combines romance and psychological drama with shadowed, fog-heavy visual elements commonly associated with early film noir.
