Pablo Bruna

description Pablo Bruna Overview

Pablo Bruna was a Spanish organist and composer of the seventeenth century who became known as El ciego de Daroca, or the blind man of Daroca, after losing his sight during childhood. He served as organist of the collegiate church of Santa María in his home city of Daroca from 1631 until his death in 1679. Around thirty-two of his organ works survive, most in the tiento form, including pieces that use the divided keyboard of Spanish organs.
