Parodia werneri

It has a restricted range and faces habitat loss, which are major reasons for its vulnerable conservation status. Wild collection can add pressure to small cactus populations.

Use a mineral, fast-draining cactus mix and provide bright light with careful watering. Let the soil dry before watering again, especially during cool conditions when excess moisture can damage the roots.
