Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish architect, industrial designer, and interior designer based in Milan. Born in Oviedo in 1961, she studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Milan, where she was a student and teaching assistant to Achille Castiglioni. She founded her own studio, Studio Urquiola, in 2001. Her portfolio spans furniture, products, and interiors for manufacturers including B&B Italia, Kartell, Moroso, and Flos.

In 2015 she was appointed art director of the Italian furniture company Cassina.
