description Penitentiary III Overview
Penitentiary III is a 1987 American crime drama written and directed by Jamaa Fanaka, and the third film in the Penitentiary series. Leon Isaac Kennedy returns as Martel “Too Sweet” Gordone, a man who is framed for murder and sent to prison. There he is beaten and forced into a confrontation with “Midnight Thud” Jessup, a martial-arts fighter, continuing the series’ focus on incarceration, violence, and prison combat.
