Pertex Endurance

Pertex Endurance is a tightly woven nylon fabric engineered for wind and weather resistance in high-abrasion outdoor applications. It is commonly used in lightweight jackets, sleeping bag shells, and gear designed for alpine climbing and trail running.

Pertex Endurance features a durable water-resistant coating designed to shed wind and light precipitation while maintaining breathability. It is more weather-resistant than uncoated Pertex Classic or Quantum fabrics, which prioritize packability and softness.

Pertex Endurance is highly water- and wind-resistant but not fully waterproof like a membrane-based fabric such as Gore-Tex. It is designed to handle light rain and snow while remaining more breathable and lighter than full waterproof hardshell materials.

Numerous lightweight outdoor gear manufacturers use Pertex Endurance in their products, including brands specializing in ultralight sleeping bags and minimalist shell jackets. The fabric is frequently found in products from companies like Montbell, Rab, and Mountain Equipment.
