Peter Revson was an American racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1964 to 1974. Racing for McLaren in 1973, he achieved his two Grand Prix victories at the British and Canadian Grands Prix. Revson also competed in Indianapolis 500, finishing second in 1971. He came from a prominent American family—his uncle Henry was president of Revlon cosmetics.

Revson died on March 22, 1974, during a test session at Kyalami circuit in South Africa while driving for the Shadow team.
